A new improved version of Chamonix 11x14 carbon fiber view camera with a reversible back (either landscape aspect or portrait aspect) has just come out. Almost all metal parts are replaced by carbon fiber parts and we are able to shave 1.1kg weight from this new camera by doing this. Wood surface is treated with wooden wax oil instead of paint. The camera has a beautiful fit and finish, like every other camera in the Chamonix line-up. This camera uses an 8-inch lensboard. Manufactured by hand in the Chamonix philosophy of light weight and high quality.
